A friend (a neuro nurse) sold her home in Sri Lanka to build a life in the UK. She looked after my Dad (as a carer) in his last weeks. She can’t get a driving licence, she can’t get a nursing job & now told it will be at least 15 years before she gets UK citizenship. 1/2

Wonderful night yesterday seeing Jools Holland and his orchestra & band . Lucy and I met the lovely and talented people @rubyturnersoul @LMarshallSinger and @PhilVeacock after the show and, happily, they were delightful.
