There is optimism that Landry Shamet can rehab shoulder injury and avoid surgery, sources said. Shamet has right shoulder sprain & is currently rehabbing, league sources confirm. All things considered, seems to be good news for NYK that Shamet avoided more severe shoulder injury.

Pat’s brand is bigger than Gameday. That’s never happened before. He’s bigger than SAS, bigger than their NFL shows. He’s the famous one, and they’re riding HIS coattails. You can’t treat somebody like that as if they should feel lucky to work for you. Like they’re replaceable.

I’ll tell you what IS happening though - for 2-3 decades the execs who run college football answered to nobody. Gameday is a cash cow. And now the most important person in their life is an outsider with his own people, producers, and brand. They’re panicking.

I’m interested in where he goes next. Because it feels like he’s setting up the next move right now, and everyone’s pretending there’s no issue. I’ll say this: I worked with Pat at espn, and not only NEVER had or saw a problem— he was one of the most conscientious guys there.

Mike Kafka had no choice but to fire Shane Bowen today as Giants DC. He would have lost a lot of credibility in his locker room if he didn't. Now Kafka has to go win 3 of these final 5 games for a legit shot at the HC job.

The Giants currently own the No. 2 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. They already have a franchise quarterback, but a lot of the teams behind them don’t. They could be positioned to trade down for a king’s ransom this offseason.

I had Joe Montana ahead of Tom Brady for a long time, but Brady went to AND WON way more so eventually, Brady > Joe and it’s not particularly close anymore LeBron going 4-6 in the Finals when he had the better team in 2011 and 2014 and had a 2-1 lead in 2015 isn’t good enough
