Hardly surprising to see such complacency, looking at who else is in charge in this country. But it’s pretty galling seeing 10 million citizens dutifully following the pandemic rules for months at a time, shuttering their lives etc, while the standard for our leaders is “whatevs”

And the 'woman wronged in love' angle really stuck with some people. She was the most powerful person in NSW. She's obviously very intelligent. It's laughable that she had no agency
@NickFeik
Since most of the MSM turned a blind eye to the shenanigans in the NSW coalition, it's hardly going to stir them up now. Rowland is patting himself on the back, but corruption is just a piece of the damage Berejiklian's govt did to the people, the fauna, & flora, of NSW.

That’s possibly why she thought she’d be safe. It’s certainly kept her safe for the best part of a year.
But then she was lucky, Barilaro was having his issues and Perrottet wasn’t looking too clean either.
The need for continuity during the pandemic can’t be ignored of course.

It’s possible to acknowledge that the resignation had to happen, and that the alternative is worse than Gladys, and bad news for NSW.
@NickFeik
Tanya Plibersek just tweeting a farewell congratulations to Gladys for her wonderful work during Covid really has me scratching my head. WTAF
