When the Junior Safety Officers announced their competition to create a 'Be Safe, Be Seen' pumpkin, they were blown away by the spooktacular standard of entries. Every entry won 5 house points.

Year 4 learned all about how the olympic games differed in Ancient Greece to today. They compared the games and discussed their differences. They finished the lesson by creating olympic torches and running them around the playground. #NewchurchHistory

Year 4 enjoyed a visit from Mad Science and United Utilities who came to explore the water cycle. They learned how most of the water on the planet cannot be used so they need to conserve it. They discussed how they could do this. #NewchurchScience

Our Year Six robins have been studying the works of one of Britain's most important artists, Joseph Turner. The children have been experimenting with tint, shade and tone to create mood and drama in their paintings. #NewchurchArt
