This was a lot fun to do! Also I believe a 'world first' in cognitive neuroscience/tech education: - 15 ppl (in grps of 3) - Repeating same 5minute ERP experiment - 5 times - w/ 5 different EEG systems(!) - Seeing their ERPs on the fly - All in one 2hr sess Wild, right? 😎🧠🎓

But the combo of outside-the-lab AND de-centralized is (we think) a new and v exciting way to do cognitive neuroscience and BCI research.

That is, we (researchers) aren't present during data collection. This approach has been used in psych expts for a while with platforms like #MTurk and #Pavlovia for *behav* data, but never yet with *neuro* data like EEG

Well, for US, we are interested in developing new ways to do neuroscience research outside of the traditional institutional lab, leveraging new low-cost technologies and the power of enthusiast communities ( i.e. you good people).
