The hospitals aren’t overcrowded they are understaffed. There is a nursing shortage and it’s going to get 100x’s worse.

@crackersnatch You feckless little parasite. You see a person on a nonrebreathing mask fighting for their life and that’s the comment you make a pig? You’re lower than dirt. Delete your account.

@Nance726 Agree, but the answer isn’t going to be pulling more nurses out of our asses. Nurses are saying “screw it, I’m out” and there isn’t anyone to replace them. Our most sustainable way out of this is to prevent people needing a hospital in the first place.

@jamesdrowe A- yes, I know, I’m a nurse B- not gonna happen, like ever. Not as long as all you can eat buffets, cigarettes, booze, and drugs exist while living in this culture of hedonism

@Nance726 Here in Oregon we've had a nursing shortage for at least the last 10 years, now they've fired a hole bunch more for not vaccinating. Plus they've removed beds as well. When a large number of people in the medical field refuse the vaccine that should cause people to pause a second

@Nance726 Nurse burnout and shortage. And teachers in the same predicament. Where do we put our priorities in the US?
