my main problem with the “do your own research” people is they don’t actually do any research. they don’t run studies, collect data, or test anything. they just google stuff and have very loud opinions with zero context.

Very important paper on the influence of foreign propaganda on domestic media. On domestic issues, RT and Sputnik follow US outlets in what and how they cover issues. On foreign issues, they *influence* coverage.

Though I’m not sure I 100% agree (these are difficult issues), Mr. Cuban’s takes on health care are some of the most informed and thoughtful out there. Transition dynamics are the key to the solution. This deserves serious attention among health and policy economists.
This is always the response. Here is the reality. Most started their programs decades and in some cases more than 100 years ago, when everyone went to the doctor and hospital and there wasn't any expensive technology. Which made it easy to convert to UHC. Just keep paying

There's really not enough of this type of content in the scene and I think Khezu has been doing a great job at it. During TI I even made my team watch one of his videos as prep. Anyways made a video with Khezu to help expose us as frauds for the next year.

Restrictions on visas double up on hurting the economy. They not only fail to generate more jobs for U.S. workers, they incentivize firms to move jobs and infrastructure (and the tax revenue and economic activity they generate) overseas.
What happens when the U.S. restricts H-1B visas? Firms don’t stop hiring talent, they just move jobs abroad. For every visa rejection, multinationals add ~0.4–0.9 foreign employees, especially in R&D hubs like India, China, and Canada.
