Have you ever wondered what Australia’s gold fields looked like? . Look no further than ‘Digging for gold,’ a 19th-century oil painting by Edwin Stocqueler. 🙌 . Edwin travelled from England to Australia in the 1850s. This painting was based on sketches he made on his journey.

Did you have tea parties as a kid? 🫖 . Susan and Andrew Gibson certainly did! . This lovely white and yellow ceramic tea set was one of the many toys they used to fill their 1920s childhood at Burrungurroolong station near Goulburn NSW with imagination and wonder. ✨

What a catch - we just acquired an iconic piece of Aussie history! 🙌 . This baggy green cap was worn by Sir Donald Bradman, our country's most celebrated batsman, during the 1946-47 Ashes tour of Australia 🏏 . The cap will be displayed in our Landmarks gallery.
