A great presentation by Dr Rhia Netherton at the @NWNeonatalODN study day. We are very proud to say that thermoregulation at delivery has improved significantly at LWNC following these implementations.

I have often wondered why despite such strong evidence, a simple intervention like administration of probiotics is only practiced in 20 odd% units across UK. Happy to say our premies have begun to have this goodie😉. Thanks @drpaulclarke for the guidance @NICU_LWNC

A very interesting review and results. We have moved to using NIPPV for extreme preterms with RDS and have noted a reduction in extubation failure.
