The Uganda Cranes coach earns about 92 million shillings a month but the team he is coaching struggles to qualify for AFCON. The coach of netball who has made Uganda number 5 in the world is not paid. - Moses Muhangi #NBSportThisMorning | #NBSportUpdates

@NBSportUg I have a belief, with uganda I know, this 92 millions salary doesn't belong to Micho, they just use him as a robbery channel and after paying him that way, it is withdrawn and taken to someone else!

@NBSportUg Football has a big budget but National teams are still demanding money. Can you imagine beach soccer cranes team are demanding sums of money and the federation is silent about it ? What does the federation use that money for ?

@NBSportUg This is sad but we need understand that it's just our weak currency that is exaggerating the amount but it very small compared to what other national team coaches are paid

@NBSportUg Football has more funs because it has been funded heavily over the years at the expense of other federations, ..... fund boxing or Netball for a year or 2 and compare results. Value for money Zero on Football

@NBSportUg Football generates more revenues so therefore the spendings must be different too, that money is even small compared to the rest of the coaches from East African countries and the world at large

@NBSportUg According to the comments, most Ugandans are myopic to football. It is not the most popular sport worldwide btw. Speaking about returns, I dont know when the Cranes last played in Uganda to bring back any penny to the gov't.
