Estate planning allows for multiple individuals to share critical roles like Power of Attorney (POA) or Executor. While legally possible, this approach comes with both potential benefits and significant risks. Success depends on the personal dynamics, communication skills, and

Right now I'm a single point of failure. 60% of couples have 1 partner who takes on all responsibility for managing finances. Despite this, very few have created a roadmap for their partner if they weren't around. I did this for my wife and I'm sharing my template publicly:

I will never apologize for thinking like a business owner instead of an accountant. Our team needs it and our clients need it. Accounting firms would be better run with an entrepreneur at the helm instead of whoever is the best accountant taking the lead.

We don't want to pay you to do the books anymore, it's too expensive, so we're going to hire a bookkeeper, but you can train them and check their work for an hourly rate, right? No.

We sent out our last call to clients & we look like we're net +10 tax clients this year. Lost more clients than expected, but my 1040 income this year is going to be up around 10% on an increase of just 2% of clientele. Overall, good wins for Team Luminary this year. #TaxTwitter

Tesco are making £4bn a year in profit. About 50% of their staff are on Universal Credit. Why don't we crackdown on this unneeded benefit for billionaires?

BAD idea. No filed return means the assessment statute never starts. The IRS can assess you at any time in the future but fling the return limits their time to assess you to 3 years from the filing date (or longer in certain circumstances). File your tax returns!

17% of millennials are considering not filing taxes this year because they think there's less chance of being audited due to IRS job cuts. 🤦‍♂️ From an Intuit Credit Karma survey of 1,003 Americans this month.
