1/Today, the House of Representatives demonstrated their bipartisan support for new moms & their commitment to preventing tragic maternal deaths by passing the Helping MOMS Act, HR 4996, which allows states to extend postpartum Medicaid or CHIP coverage from 60 days to one year.
