Congrats to our second-year undergrad Anthony Sutch for winning Music Department EDI Prize 2023/24! Anthony’s winning essay “The Vuvuzela as a South African Emblem” is a sophisticated analysis of the instrument through postcolonial and queer theory, and it gets a £100 prize!
