These @NISDBlattman Glam-mas had the best 100th day of school today. It’s hard to believe today was the 100th day when there’s been 100 days in January alone, but our Black Bears are 100 days smarter! We celebrated with duck hunts, 100 item bags, writing crafts, and more!

When we are 100 years old, we will have 100 dogs, eat 100 tacos, take naps, and do something very special! I do @runDisney races and bring my medals back to school. When one little black bear is 100, she wants to do them too, but walking Disney because she’ll be too old to run!

This week, we have learned about the election process in kinder- we learned why people vote, registered to vote, and learned about our cookie candidates. Today, we got to vote on which cookie we like best! It was a close race, but Oreos came out on top.

And in our Home Depot and makerspace, students are building, creating, testing, and exploring!

In the pumpkin patch, we are practicing seasonal vocabulary, cooperation, sorting, and measurement. This space will rotate as the seasons change!

In Starbucks, students are following multistep directions, taking orders, counting money, and practicing social language conventions.

In the HEB, students are working with environmental print, list-making, financial literacy, and community helping.

The Enrichment Lab is open for business! Our kinders were over the moon today to get to use this space. We are so grateful to our PTA and the donations from our parents that have made this possible! Playing is learning! @NISD_ECE @NISDBlattman
