🕵️ Hidden costs: Always make sure you know exactly what you're paying. Keep an eye out for extra costs like shipping fees or VAT as they can increase the overall cost of your purchase... 💸

💳 Choose the safest way to pay: Try to use secure and trusted online payment platforms like PayPal. Also remember that if you buy goods on your credit card, you get protection via the Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act. This applies to items costing between £100 and £30k.

🚨 Watch out for scams: If the price is too good to be true, it probably is. Make sure you're buying from a reputable retailer that you can trust.

❌ Don't buy just because it's Black Friday: Only buy what you really need or want. Ask yourself 'would I really buy this if it wasn't heavily discounted?' 🤔 Equally, if you're using a credit card at the checkout, make sure you only spend what you can afford to pay back.

💰 Extra savings: Some retailers may let you use multiple discount codes at the checkout on top of their Black Friday reductions. Google voucher codes for that retailer and see if they'll work at the checkout...
