My brother died from depression. He also frequently exercised, had supportive friends/family, was successful in school & in work. He had goals that he was constantly reaching- he still killed himself. People who are depressed are not weak minded- they are sick. Understand this.

I find myself wanting to get smarter everyday, by reading a book or learning a new skill or learning at least a little of a different language, etc. For example, I’m currently trying to figure out what that thing called money is.

Life moves too fast. When you’re young, you never believe them when they say it. But damn it’s true.
