The $MPLX circulating supply on Coingecko and Coinmarket Cap has been updated to exclude the 242mm tokens (24% of total supply) held by the Metaplex DAO While the token is fully unlocked, there is a substantial portion of the supply that is unlikely to ever enter circulation
This is something that is not well understood about $MPLX Token is fully unlocked, but ~40% is held by the @metaplex DAO and Metaplex Foundation Working on improving the visibility of token-related data, including participating in the @Blockworks_ transparency framework soon
