Yes. Above her left eye. She still may lose it. Swelling is so bad right now and it could be weeks until we know for sure. This is going to be a long road to recovery. ❤️🩹 But…she’s a little warrior. Jumped in front of the snake to protect her pup-siblings.

She’s home. Resting. There are post-bite complications to manage like swelling, wound weeping, nausea, vomiting…it’s a lot. Plus it is unknown if she will keep her eye. Swelling is so bad the vets can’t tell yet. But she’s wagging her tail, drinking and eating…all good signs.
