@Mitumba10 They probably have something in their background check that doesn’t allow them to be foster parents. Which is 1. Why we have so many foster kids and not enough foster parents 2. Why they have to put up a sign on Twitter. No one in thier right mind would give them a baby.

@Mitumba10 The reality of foster care is that it's hard as hell to actually become a foster parent. I tried back in Sacramento. They want tons of unreasonable stuff just to foster a kid. The SYSTEM is the reason so many kids languish in foster care. NOT those of us who would happily foster.

@Mitumba10 And it costs almost nothing to adopt out of foster care. They’ll actually give a monthly adoption subsidy till the child is 18. These people are full of it.

@Mitumba10 And what's worst is there could be as many as half a million more unwanted babies on their way in 2022-2023. The last year for which the CDC reported a yearly national total for abortions is 2019. The agency says there were 629,898 abortions nationally that year.

@Mitumba10 & the other reality is: Women who have CHOICE can always choose to birth & adopt out the baby if they wish. Everyone KNOWS they can find parents for their newborn, this is not, and has never been, the issue until this SCOTUS decided babies were a commodity in low supply. 🤮🤬

@Mitumba10 Oh they might adopt a cute, white, perfectly healthy baby but they damn sure won’t adopt a troubled older kid or one with a learning disability or a child of color. And that cute, white baby better not turn out to be LGBTQ or they’ll send it back.
