Do people really care that much about who they play as in cs? Because the player model I use is the last thing I ever care about when I play, so Im curious.

Valorant is a key example, they have a much more competent marketing team and lots more women play Valorant rather than CS because of one thing or another. I can DEFINITELY see lack of female options will affect judgement

And while I agree CS is indeed harder to get into, the game is a business and Valve is doing bad business by not trying to attract women as well. So the least they could do is add a female default option

If I have the option to make myself look cooler/closer to something, I will do it.

Anyway u can just buy the female skin if u care so much about it. They added in the game on a later basis and they wanna profit from it. Only reason why it's not for free. NOT SEXISM.
