Ok, don't want to be the #doublerainbow guy but this was pretty awesome this morning in our parking lot. Has anyone every seen a circular #rainbow ? What's the #science on that?

@MissiNewsRoom Sun dogs. Ice crystals in the atmosphere reflecting sunlight. ❄️☀️❄️

@MissiNewsRoom According to Wikipedia...secondary rainbows are caused by a double reflection of sunlight inside the raindrops :)

@MissiNewsRoom Interestingly enough, according to the philosophy of Feng Shui, double rainbows "are considered symbolic of transformations in your life !

@MissiNewsRoom It’s a sundog. It is formed when sunlight passes through cirrus clouds in the upper atmosphere. The ice crystals in the clouds act like a prism and form the halo around the sun. Usually only happens just after sunrise or before sunset. ☀️ 🌈 #sciencerocks
