Excellent opportunity here for our @SETUIreland staff to develop small scale teaching and research initiatives with at least one of our @EU_CONEXUS partners. We'll worth considering this for an application. Deadlines in October so time to plan and develop this.

Reflecting on a great week, we @SETUIreland had a great time hosting the 28 PhD students and 20 staff from 10 universities from our @EU_CONEXUS alliance. Great learning and fun had by all and already the PhD students are planning how they can meet again. Safe trip home to all!

And now this afternoon for some sports, culture and fun, a classroom introduction to our @EU_CONEXUS partners on hurling by Aaron Beresford @SETUGAAWD. We will follow this up with a practicals hurling skills demonstration and all participants will practice hurling!

This morning the PhD students attending our @EU_CONEXUS PhD Summer School here @SETUIreland are presenting their abstracts for interdisciplinary research plans. Excellent multidisciplinarity, teamwork and collaboration displayed and invaluable learning opportunities
