I honestly think people should stop going behind mileage so much & explore other options. Yes mileage is very important since everyone might not be rich enough. However if you're not struggling to get your car tank filled, you should definitely explore other brands.

The hazard light switch, AC vents, AC controls, power window controls, ORVM controls, etc. Everything is just a far more premium feeling in Amaze.

The Amaze has the advantage of a far superior engine, much better transmission & a more premium cabin feel. Yes, the 2nd gen Amaze's interior from 2018 feels more premium. Yes it doesn't have the best infotainment or the MID but whatever it has, is really good.

Swift vs Amaze. I am aware this is an unfair comparison but I just want to compare my experience with these 2 cars. The new Swift has the advantages of a much superior infotainment screen, much better mileage & likely lower service cost.

. back to light mode regardless of the headlights. And the difference between the highest & second highest MID brightness is big. There might be a setting to change this but the default behaviour shouldn't be this which I'm pretty sure it is.

MID ❌: I don't have issues with the looks of the MID but how its brightness is integrated. The infotainment system is supposed to go to dark mode if I turn on the headlights which it does. However, if I make the MID brightness maximum the infotainment system comes. .

What I didn't like specially about the 4th gen. Driving position ❌: I feel it's even more worse in this than it is on the 3rd gen. Bezels ❌: The humungous bezels around the infotainment system is just plain disgusting. They could've removed it to make it more sleek.

What I didn't like specifically about the 3rd gen ❌:. Basically all the pros of the 4th gen which it doesn't have like a cheaper quality interior & poor infotainment screen.

Key ❌: I mean what the hell even is this lmao. It's the same one I saw in 2014 with the 2nd gen Alto K10.

Driving position ❌: As far as I know, Amaze has one of the best seating positions around this segment which has definitely spoiled me. The VXI variants of these Swifts don't even come with a height adjustable driver seat which is just bad. It should be a must have feature imo.

AMT when driving feels even worse than it does to passengers which isn't the case with my Amaze's CVT. AMT is jerky, takes time to respond & overall just feels very cumbersome to handle. Safe to say, easily the worst point of these cars & practically a deal breaker for me.

Now the common dislikes. AMT ❌: This is the sacrifice you need to make for that for that sweet 15.6km/l figure. I've driven AMT in 1st gen Celerio, latest gen WagonR & these two Swifts. It's just a horrible transmission in all of them.

It's far better than the basic media player of the 3rd gen which has no physical buttons, refreshes really slowly & is just worse to use than even an Alto's infotainment system.
