I’ve know @ABDanielleSmith for over a decade. She knows my door is always open to meet with her any time she wants to talk about evidenced-based policy, rule of law, and human rights. There’s nothing radical about following the Canadian Charter of Rights & Freedoms. #abpoli

@LukaszukAB @ABDanielleSmith Smith announced: 🪙 Student funding will remain the WORST in Canada 🥔 $0 to alleviate overcrowded public school classrooms 😞 ZERO support for teachers, EA’s & key supports for students Smith choose to fail EVERY Albertan today so she can enrich UCP donors tomorrow. Sick.

Energy minister ⁦@BrianJeanAB⁩ confirmed what we in the land rights space have known for years: It’s either polluter pay (status quo), or citizen pay with his proposed law change. The bill to be paid is $260 billion. Polluter pay is the only way.

lol Get the fuck out of here @BrianJeanAB Why is it always the taxpayer propping up the oil industry. Fine them, penalize them, raise their royalties until the liability is covered.

What if millions of Canadians suddenly understood that the housing, infrastructure and healthcare issues they are so mad about are mainly the responsibility of the Conservative Premiers they keep re-electing? That would be neat.

Albertans have been clear, they don’t want to leave the CPP. When will Danielle Smith listen to Albertans and stop this nonsense? https://t.co/zm5GSwktu0

The only question that matters is whether Albertans want to leave the CPP. And Danielle Smith already knows the answer to that. It’s no. Overwhelmingly, resoundingly no.

Hands off my pension. MY pension, not yours, Danielle. My pension does not belong to ‘Alberta’ in any way, shape or form, and I would get what I will get anywhere in Canada. I earned it, and it’s mine.

HOW dare Smith say “if Ottawa comes back with a lowball estimate”! CPP actuaries will come back with correct numbers. Media must challenge her with statements that disgusting. Actuaries don’t use “lowball estimate”. Actuaries use FACTS ! Smith again misleading Alberta & media.

What a great summary by @nenshi ! AB's healthcare system is a rapidly devolving mess. And the cause of this? Our government. Without a change in approach or a change in government Albertans will increasingly die unnecessarily. Government: You need to fix this now.

"Alberta" does not pay into the CPP. Individual Canadians, many of which have moved around the country during their working life, contribute and benefit. CPP is a pension benefit for being a Canadian & the UCP must stay away. It is not your UCP slush fund. #ableg #abpoli

At what point do Albertans start blaming the provincial government that's been in power since 2019 for the stuff that falls squarely into and under its jurisdiction?

We are still hearing threats from the UCP about pulling Albertans out of CPP and laying their retirement savings all down on an extremely risky bet. The UCP think they are better equipped to manage seniors’ pension funds, which is very scary given their abysmal economic record.

#Ableg Since 2023, Danielle Smith has allocated $161 million to 3 UCP-backed Charter Schools! This COULD have funded: 🏫 682 New modular classrooms 👩‍🏫 2,566 New teachers 🧑‍🏫 3,670 Ed. assistants Instead, Alberta's public schools are left with classrooms crowded with 40+ kids
