After 6 years of hard work, balancing a full time job and a masters degree with my PhD, I submitted my thesis in July I'm very proud to say that I also passed my viva 2 weeks ago with some minor corrections It's been the most challenging experience of my life but I am so proud!

I've just said words that I never thought I'd say... "I actually don't hate MATLAB, in fact it's fully in my comfort zone!" First year Alex who spent nights crying bc they didn't understand MATLAB would have never.

After a week of uni in London and getting up 2-3 hours later than normal because I've had a 20 min commute compared to an almost 2 hour one... I am not looking forward to the struggle getting up for work tomorrow will be 😅

I've just had to walk through an antivax protest to get to my bus stop. They're quoting 1715 "vaccine injuries". With over 45 million people fully vaccinated in the UK alone, that seems like a very well tolerated vaccine to me!

I very much miss the simple layout of the @HullUni_Library though when I was trying to find a seat and then subsequently the toilets and printers 😅 #Kings is an absolute maze!

Going to a uni with this view from the library toilets causes me imposter syndrome 😅 Like that's absolutely ridiculous! How is everything here so pretty! Definitely do not feel smart enough to be here!
