The Minister for Homelessness met frontline workers who are changing lives every day. Seeing first-hand how our £84m investment translates into real support - safe beds, specialist care and a path off the streets. Watch how we're breaking down barriers and building hope ⬇️

It was great to welcome @Alison_McGovern and @SadiqKhan to #Hackney to hear about this boost to homelessness prevention funding. The Greenhouse is an amazing health, advice and support centre and I'm grateful to everyone who shared their stories with us. #WorldHomelessDay
Good to join Minister @Alison_McGovern at the Greenhouse in Hackney, a vital advice and support hub. This £36.5m in Government funding will strengthen local efforts across our city to prevent rough sleeping and provide support to those in need.

No one should have to sleep rough on our streets. This additional funding from government will support our Rough Sleeping Action Plan and our work with London Councils to prevent people becoming homeless ⬇️

Terrible to see this attack on a mosque in Sussex. We must all stand together in the face of attacks visited on our places of faith, and on those who find peace and sanctuary there. There is no place for hate.
BREAKING: Shocking footage shows an arsonist setting fire to the community mosque in #Peacehaven, East Sussex. A male inside managed to escape safely. Firefighters have now stood down. Sussex Police are investigating. Read more at https://t.co/n9dlkl9swE

We condemn the Islamophobic arson attack on an East Sussex Mosque. We advise the community to remain vigilant, but do not live in fear. We will continue to stand up for peace & justice, for our faith and for others, and for our home in this United Kingdom.
