It was great to welcome @Alison_McGovern and @SadiqKhan to #Hackney to hear about this boost to homelessness prevention funding. The Greenhouse is an amazing health, advice and support centre and I'm grateful to everyone who shared their stories with us. #WorldHomelessDay

No one should have to sleep rough on our streets. This additional funding from government will support our Rough Sleeping Action Plan and our work with London Councils to prevent people becoming homeless ⬇️

Terrible to see this attack on a mosque in Sussex. We must all stand together in the face of attacks visited on our places of faith, and on those who find peace and sanctuary there. There is no place for hate.

We condemn the Islamophobic arson attack on an East Sussex Mosque. We advise the community to remain vigilant, but do not live in fear. We will continue to stand up for peace & justice, for our faith and for others, and for our home in this United Kingdom.
