To put it all in perspective, 5 years ago in 2017 when I started building in crypto, the space today would’ve exceeded my lofty expectations. We’re on track. Crypto is fundamentally captivating and isn’t going anywhere. We do need better regulatory oversight though.

Anyone who doesn’t agree that regulation is a mandatory medicine doesn’t understand macro prudential risk and the eventual takeover of distributed agreement within society. Finance is heavily regulated and so too will crypto be.

Anything with strong network effects has strong possibility of regulation. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Meta, Twitter—the bigger they are, the harder they fall—that’s exactly where regulators get their authority from. It’s from times like these.
