NEW: @CharlieBakerMA says of 17,617 people tested for #COVID at testing sites set up for demonstrators and protestors last week, 2.5% tested positive. Baker says that’s “reasonably consistent” with positive test rates across the state

@MattPStout @CharlieBakerMA What does “reasonably consistent” mean? Is it slightly higher? Slightly lower? How much?

@MattPStout @CharlieBakerMA It's not safe to congregate unless you're protesting? Is that the public health message here?

@MattPStout @CharlieBakerMA 1. People getting tested can still & become positive for #COVID at a later date. 2. The virus takes about 14 days to start show. 3. The current spike is due to all the idiots breaking rules a few weeks back. 4. You wouldn't see a possible spike from protesters yet.

@MattPStout @CharlieBakerMA Totally illogical conclusion. Who knows how many protesters went to get tested. Who knows how many lied about being at protests to “protect the movement?”

@MattPStout @CharlieBakerMA Because protestors in MA were wearing masks because it's the law here.

@MattPStout @CharlieBakerMA So mass gatherings are okay with masks, even without social distancing. Why are we worried about schools opening again?
