I received a message from a friend about the incentives post I wrote recently. This was from a friend whose opinion I respect greatly. They questioned whether it’s healthy to have a POV that life is run by incentives (particularly emphasising non-financial aspects). I think

Avoiding these will be mocked by society every time: - Not drinking - Not overeating - Not consuming junk food - Not spending your entire salary - Not celebrating occasions with some made of chocolate - Not buying things on credit - Not "treating yourself" every day or week
