I received a message from a friend about the incentives post I wrote recently. This was from a friend whose opinion I respect greatly. They questioned whether it’s healthy to have a POV that life is run by incentives (particularly emphasising non-financial aspects). I think

Avoiding these will be mocked by society every time: - Not drinking - Not overeating - Not consuming junk food - Not spending your entire salary - Not celebrating occasions with some made of chocolate - Not buying things on credit - Not "treating yourself" every day or week

Wages cover your bills, they don't make you wealthy. The trick is to channel your wages into launching or acquiring something that yields profits. Then, use your profits to invest in assets. That's the secret you've been seeking.
