So when you see and hear patriotic Americans decrying what is happening in Minnesota or elsewhere, ⦠it is not āracism,ā it is not ābigotry,ā it is not āxenophobiaā; instead, it is preserving the American tradition of responsible institutions and national integrity.
RE: Fraud in Minnesota Iām not sure that most Americans understand that in large swathes of humanity, there is no actual concept of āfraud,ā particularly fraud against the government. Instead, there is a belief in the virtue of getting away with what you can to help yourself

In hindsight, I certainly wish I had only asked about the eligibility and then completed the transaction on my own. It is just sad that even a smaller carrier like this can make a mistake and then have no feasible way to empower customer service to fix it.

Multiple people āinvestigate the issueā and say the original purchase was not made via a referral link and there is simply nothing that can be done. No supervisor, no legal department, no review. No power to make it right.

So my son is happy with his unlimited data service and the family still loves our existing service, but the time goes by and the credits never show up. So I call customer service back to inquire.

He had me find my referral code and said he attached it to the purchase. He told me the referral credits would not show up in our account until up to 10 business days, but I could move him into our family plan as soon as he had a number and the credits would combine when issued.

I asked if I needed to complete the transaction on the website, but the customer service rep insisted they could help me right then on the call, so I let him.

I didnāt want to mess up the referral, so I called in to make sure we could do that and be eligible for the $60 total credit. I was assured by their āactivation teamā that this was correct and we were indeed eligible.

I wanted to sign my kid up for his first cell plan. I knew I could refer him to Mint and he would get $15 credit and I would get $45 credit. But I also wanted to pay his service in advance, then move him onto our existing plan.
