On today’s anniversary of the Srebrenica massacre, thinking of the women I accompanied to Potočari in 2009 where they buried the recently identified remains of their menfolk killed that day. One of the saddest assignments of my career. Already then, signs denialism on the rise.

@MaryFitzger @Siadasha This is tragedy on top of tragedy. The denialism has always been a grotesque & vile response. It can't even be described as a survival response, it's ignorance combined with hatred?
