If you’re against nuclear power, you’re fundamentally not serious about clean energy. If you’re blocking solar farms, you’re just another NIMBY. The Greens can play the radicals all they like, but when push comes to shove and it matters, they’re just Lib Dems with better PR.

When I was first elected, evidence showed it would take 193 years to bring London's air pollution within legal limits. Due to our policies, we've done it in 9. Good to speak at today’s @BloombergDotOrg summit on how bold climate action is transforming the lives of Londoners 💚

Absolutely shocking stuff, some of the stories in this investigation are harrowing. Worse is that it’s in no way surprising; maternity services are just one part of the NHS that have been left absolutely broken over the last decade.
EXPOSED: BRITAIN'S NEXT MATERNITY SCANDAL BY @hannahsbee When a woman enters a hospital maternity ward, she places her life – and that of her baby – in the hands of medical staff. But in Britain today, that trust is being broken. Nearly half of England’s maternity units require

Great to see this - Zohran ran an incredible and inspirational campaign, faced down the racism and bigotry that’s too common in our politics head-on, and won handily. Lessons for the left all over the world.
Zohran Mamdani has won the race to become the next mayor of New York City. Mr Mamdani - who will be the first Muslim, first South Asian, and youngest person in a century to be elected as the famous city's mayor - used a victory speech to throw down the gauntlet to Donald Trump.

Great to kick off November in #GrovePark with a Cllr surgery at the library and then talking to residents on Burnt Ash Hill. Always a pleasure to talk to people about the difference @LewishamLabour is making locally. Thanks to the Deputy Mayor @LouiseKrupski for joining us! 🌹

Which disabled kids would @TiceRichard like to force to walk to school, and how far would he force them to walk? Some people’s lives are more complicated than others, and that tends to cost a little more than yours or mine; and certainly more than this posh rent-a-gob’s.
Councils spend more than £2bn on special needs school transport Latest report from National Audit Office This is not sustainable

Patriotism isn’t just something you feel, it's something you do. Taking pride in our communities. Renewing our nation. Building Britain up, not talking it down.

Reform and the Tories voted AGAINST ❌ Banning no fault evictions ❌ An end to bidding wars ❌ More notice for tenants if a landlord is selling up

Something intensely Victorian about unelected peers teaming up with the employer lobby try to water down a Labour election commitment to boost workers’ rights. Slowing down this legislation delays workers getting those protections. The House of Lords should get back in its box.
So what was the upshot of the Big Votes in the Lords on the Employment Rights Bill? You guessed it - unelected Tory and Lib Dem Peers lined up behind the bad bosses to pass amendments that undermine Labour's Manifesto Commitments - on Day 1 rights, Guaranteed Hours and Repealing

Privileged to join Lewisham’s Mayor @Brenda_Dacres in Ypres last weekend to pay respects to the British West Indian servicemen who served our country in WW1. Their story has too long been ignored. Thank you to @BWIRHT for hosting us and shining an overdue light on their service.
