Smith mistakenly thought that a shortage of Children’s Tylenol was an opportunity to “stick it to the Ottawa”.
Her order, from a company in Turkey arrived miss-dosed, no child-proof caps, and TWO MONTHS LATE.
Any fool could have predicted this.
It cost YOU $100 MILLION
@MargTokar
Only 1.5 million of the five million bottles purchased by the government were ever delivered to Alberta, and of those, just 4,700 bottles made it to community pharmacies,
$80m for 1.5m = $53 bucks a bottle WE the TAXPAYER shelled out.
@MargTokar
I’m almost positive the company they went through was owned by a relative of Adriana LaGrange.
I definitely remember reading that somewhere.
@MargTokar
Ah! But the middleman in the contract got a nice, fat payday, and Danielle maybe got a kickback.
Their only goal is to Take It For Themselves. Not the Tylenol. The Money.
@MargTokar
If you could “follow the money,” my hunch is there are a few conservative “middlemen” who made bank. So it’s all good in their eyes. It’s not about leadership, it’s about the grift.
