UCP governed 5 yrs since the NDP
Yet some Albertans are still blaming them for an Emerg Alert?!!
UCP reversed an NDP plan for a capacity market to stabilize supply & pricing.
Grow up, people!

No, they shut down 6. And what did they do with them? 3 were converted to natural gas. 2 are slated to be converted this spring. 1 is a dual fuel. They are ALL up and running. You can fact check that.

People have short memories. They want to believe in false prophets like Danielle Smith who spoonfeed them chocolate-flavored pablum. It's easier than educating themselves, pulling up their bootstraps and electing good people who tell them the truth and have long-range goals. Sad.

Some of these ucp people have a hard time with FACTS and TRUTHS. I guess when you believe lies daily as the gospel …. Truth and facts are hard to deal with.

The changes to generation, are the NDP and are the problem, and the "stabalizing market" would not have prevented this in any way ... amazing how much absolute damage they did in 4 short years ...

Lol, it takes many years to build gen plants. NDP planned one and it just came online. NDP declared war on coal, our cheapest source of power. NDP didn’t have a full plan to replace coal as evidenced by lack of power. Alt energy failed when needed most, this was also NDP driven.
