Unyathela ngabantwana
Our ancestors had a supernatural power of spotting an infertile woman at young age, one of the signs were thick legs. They came up with isisho that will be a compliment and lure men as they fix the infertility issue.

Mabutho you seem to be a bit confused. From the explanation you gave this is actually an insult. How can you compliment someone for being “infertile”? How can you “compliment” someone by wanting to “fix” them?

Mabutho never gets confused, I shouldn't have explained it in English. Isifengqo lesi sifana nombhingqo, both can be used in a positive way yet they've hidden story. We saw a beautiful body but ogogo saw a possible infertility, babesho sakuncoma kanti babona inkinga enganeni.

Y’all are starting with the lies. Abantwana comes from the fact that babies are chubby & soft, so thick legs are likened to thick chubby babies. Nothing to do with infertility.
