This is basically an L for family system in the West. Thank God divorce is a taboo here, people at least put effort into their marriage

It's not like domestic abuse is non existent in the West. Moreover you have pervasive domestic abuse against men too. Talk about gender equality. You never solved the problem. Just made it multi dimensional and more complex

People can divorce over little things it's definitely become too normalised and because of the normalisation people also rush into marriage more

Those are exceptions, not the rules..Still a million times better than ending it b/c you aren't "feeling it"anymore. I'm glad people put efforts into relations here. We're family minded, Thank God

if you don't understand their culture it doesn't mean its wrong, low divorce rates =/= happy relationships, you can turn a blind eye but the reality is relationships are hard and don't work all the time so a low divorce due to taboo is not really something to be prideful of.

Your parents can literally sell you through "marriage" in pakistan at the age of 15, the fuck are you on about bro. Divorce dont equal bad, it just means that two people weren't meant for each other and instead of being unhappy together they've decided to split and progress.
