the performance of my
#GodotEngine
demo was increased! Some things also look a bit different, but the performance gain was too big to pass.
So now it runs "ok" the Steam Deck 😁

I have to say I did not expect the performance drain at all. The scene looks simple geometry wise and such but it's a ruse don't think lightly about it ;).
I'll have to go through this step by step to find which settings are the killers ;D.

If you don't mind me asking, have you had any performance issues?
Wtih high settings I have on average 40fps (range about down to 33, up to maybe 50) but my cpu idles at 20% use and my gpu is between 20-40%, I'm perplexed why I'm having issues with plenty of resources to spare.

also after looking up the project the perfomance can be increased with playing on editor project sethimgs (not in game, but editor), i got it to run at 15 fps this time with sdfgi, there are artifacts, but hey it an igpu, you can´t expect more, but the lighting here is the issue
