The holocaust was NOT just in Europe.
9,600+ Jews from Tunisia, Libya, & Algeria were sent to concentration camps.
Nazi policies were adopted in North Africa like making Jews wear a star or putting Jews in labor camps where most died of starvation (ex. Giado camp in Libya).
"Nazi policies were adopted in North Africa" hmm I wonder why an area controlled by both vichy france (nazis) and Italy (fascists) implemented nazis policies !! Truly a mystery for the ages !!
@MOuerthi
Jews were used to subjugate Arab populations. Most of them were soldiers for western colonisers even including in Palestine where they were also part of the administration. They left as the colonisers left since they were the same.
@Mukhtar_M_Yusuf
In Algeria, jewish Algerians got french nationality since 1870, when the algerians won their freedom most of them chose to leave to France as they saw themselves as french, but now they're trying to make it seem as if they were kicked out or cleansed.
@MOuerthi
You are really trying to sell people on this idea that Jews were either treated great in these countries or left because they were sold a bill of goods? You have zero concept of history. Typical whitewashing and gaslighting
@petrus_nikola
Cowards ? We have no policy or law against welcoming back jewish people, in fact thousands come to djerba in Tunisia every year as pilgrimage

@bonnie_mery
And also the treatment of people like my ancestors in Algeria, and the italian treatment of libyans and Ethiopians and most of colonialism in africa and the ME
@MOuerthi
For goodness sake, this kills me. Algerians were killed by the millions and persecuted more than most of the world understands. Jews aren’t the only victims of oppression in the world.
