Check out Drs. Grunberg, Presciutti, Vranceanu, & Lerou recent findings on NICU parents. Staff can help reduce parental anxiety by teaching them parenting skills. They also reduce posttraumatic stress by encouraging them to take breaks from bedside and take care of themselves.
