Today I visited Basilica St Peter @Pontifex @VaticanNews to give thanks for the life of my good friend and best man Peter and for the life of my wife Lynda. I’m not Catholic nor my late wife but Peter was involved within the church and a serving Catholic and I respect that.

I have spoken by phone water came back in the evening and I eventually got a well needed shower about 10pm after sitting in front of a fan cuddling ice packs to drop my body temp! However pressure is still low.

Last evening I did something I could only dream of when I was younger I stepped through the hallowed gates and into the inner sanctum and ballroom of Buckingham Palace and met their Majesties the King and Queen and their Royal highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.
