Sobering new @APEAL_Lab research shows that we need better supports for transgender and gender diverse people.
A nationally representative study from Canada found that transgender and gender diverse people are at a higher risk of past year and lifetime mental health disorders, substance use disorder, and suicidal behavior, compared to the cisgender population.
