Don't normally advertise on here but I do have a website setup with some pre-modded consoles. Shipping inside Australia only at the moment, although that might change in the future.

However, I don't really need it right now, so it is not a priority.

I also may need to track down a new laser for this one. It reads originals fine but is a bit hit and miss on the backups. Will probably try and dial it in with the scope in the next couple of days.

I didn't want to go through the schematics so I just ended up replacing both 220uf 4v capacitors located near the AV port(The other one is related to s-video). Picture is now looking very nice.

PS1 with Mayumi v4, MFO and GameID patched bios. This one also needed the ac coupling capacitor for composite replaced due to dark picture/wrong colors. I did this after these photos were taken unfortunately.

XboxHD+ clones are now on Ali. Not that I condone the purchasing of these. But just so you know.

Decided to try a simple point to point modbo install on this PS2. I do like doing the wire porn but it does take up time and considering it has no effect on how it operates I'm sort of wondering whether it is worth doing. I think it still turned out pretty good aesthetically

Yet another budget HDMI kit. I do have a spare Gamecube here so might check this one out as well at some point.

Also, forgot to mention that after replacing IC601 the PS1 startup animation returned. I can only theorize that this was already failing and possibly me applying heat when removing the old caps finally killed it.

Repair time: Today it was yet another Ebay PSone this time with no power whatsoever. After checking that the barrel jack was in good condition and that it did not have any cracked solder joints I moved onto the fuses. First one tested (PS600 in first picture) had no continuity.
