To those replying there was one in their school, I’m not doubting but that was not generally the norm & isn’t the point. I don’t remember every public building having THE SAME picture of the Queen paid for by the government with taxpayers money that could have been used elsewhere

@Lucy_cat_lady In my view, they’re pampering to the idea Britain (and its Monarch) are best. Americans do a similar thing to boost national pride- however they don’t have a monarchy. It also supposes that all British citizens support the idea of a monarchy. I don’t. It sucks.
