There is a huge issue within pro wrestling that needs addressing. Why do so many wrestlers think it’s ok to take advantage of their fans and think they will get away with it? Why do you have such an inflated ego that this becomes normal?? I’m sick of hearing about sex scandals.

PLEASE stop defending or covering up stories that come out - this goes for fans, wrestlers and promoters.
Just because you like someone’s wrestling or they’re your buddy or you have them advertised for a show does not mean you turn a blind eye to toxic or abusive behaviour.

To many, these are rookie numbers - but considering I only started in April, I am so proud of myself!

I’ve been on wrestling twitter since I was 14. The amount of men, mostly in their 20s if not older, who would DM me & build a relationship with me over Snapchat (because this is the hardest social media to retain proof) would shock you. This is in hindsight of course

My essay about wrestling, which I was very stressed about and thought was crap because it was slightly rushed, got 75% 🙌🏼
That’s 2 of 2 masters level essays I’ve submitted so far that have got distinctions. Sorry not sorry for bragging because I’m super proud of myself 😮💨

Now, we wait for the marks to come out - which could be a while because university staff are striking for fair pay & work conditions (solidarity with them)

I don’t want to be too pessimistic but in light of recent events, I think it’s clear that harassment/abuse/sexism is a big problem in wrestling and of course all sports. Proper safeguarding measures must be taken to avoid this becoming a breeding ground for this behaviour.

I feel very strongly about this subject, with a deep admiration for everyone who spearheaded the movement.
It was an incredibly difficult moment in our sport, & it’s impossible to overstate the pain that victims had to contend with.
I hope my project has done them justice.
