@lowthercastle Since their arrival at Lowther in 2020 (in a licensed, enclosed scientific release), the adult Eurasian beavers have done what beavers do best – incredible ecosystem engineering that reduces risk of flooding downstream & brings more biodiversity to the wetland landscape. (2/3)

Today is #worldsuicidepreventionday. At Lowther, we are remembering Will Lowther who died in 2022, too young. Beautiful boy, dearly missed. @JamesPlaceUK is a remarkable charity that helps young men with suicidal thoughts. Many families in UK are indebted to James' Place.
