I’m honored to receive the Pulitzer Prize today. Great thanks to the prize’s jury and board members for honoring me. I dedicate this success to my family, friends, teachers, and students in Gaza. Blessings to the 31 members of my family who were killed in one air strike in 2023.

Satellite imagery shows structures inside and reveals there are two other similar sites under construction. Israel has also built new roads, blocked others, conducted raids and fired on protesters.

This was not an isolated incident. 17 Palestinians have been killed by the IDF in Beita alone since 2020, according to monitoring groups. Another American citizen was shot a month ago.
