I also don’t think the Parallax retcon undermines 90s Hal or Spectre Hal nearly as much as people say. I don’t think Parallax took full control of Hal until GL: Rebirth, and you can tell. It’s very visually distinct. Influence vs Control.

@JustCallMeKlang I don’t get why people act like this absolved him of anything because a lot of Johns’s run was about Hal’s redemption up to and including Sinestro Corp War. The whole corp still hated him and he hadn’t won back Batman’s trust until that event.
