Is the #ULEZ charge just a smokescreen to introduce road pricing to prop Transport For #London โ€™s high wage cost and vanity projects. Check out page 32 from the @TfL website Link below ๐Ÿ‘‡

@LondonTrafficW1 @TfL And who will this affect the most? It most definitely will not be the well off. The turkeys need to wake up and look at what they may be voting for come the next mayoral election.

@LondonTrafficW1 @TfL There is another one on its way, too. Lambeth council will be charging different resident/parking rates for the emission level of your vehicle. Electric - ยฃ120 per year. Petrol - ยฃ200 per year. Diesel will be a lot more.

@LondonTrafficW1 @TfL The next few paragraphs are more telling. Spending up to ยฃ1bn in creating these schemes plus the ongoing costs of maintaining them... all to brave behavioural change that nobody wants, that will penalise the poorest and raise mo ey for Mayors to spend on more vanity projects.

@LondonTrafficW1 @TfL That's utterly horrifying. Clearly they have no idea how the suburbs work. Or any city for that matter. That would destroy London for anyone except the richest. Maybe that's the point........

@LondonTrafficW1 @TfL Why are the people being overruled by the mayor. We didn't vote for this and we have protested it and our protests have been ignored. Another stealth tax or just power mad?

@LondonTrafficW1 @TfL I thought we lived in a democratic country. Isnโ€™t this just like being in CHINA? I never voted for any of this. I donโ€™t want to be โ€˜nudgedโ€™ into changing my driving behaviour, I want to retain the right to be able to drive my car as and when I want and to go where I want.

@LondonTrafficW1 @electrodrummer @TfL London motorists, with avg speed below 15 , you should invest in a mobility scooter that has a top speed of 12 mph? True, no passengers can be carried, but you will never lose it through being car jacked. New Londoners will lose credibility if seen riding a stolen one. ๐Ÿคก
