The hand on my head belongs to a lady who has been in ICU for almost 4 weeks. She misses her own dog dearly and I think I managed to cheer her up a bit 🥲 #therapydog #humanisingICU

The intensive care unit is a terrifying, very clinical environment for most. Last week a patient said seeing me made her “feel normal again”. Very grateful to work in a hospital where #humanisingICU is being taken seriously and #animalassistedtherapy is a big part of it 🫶🏻
