Since I can't be home to see my young relatives this year, I've been painting them the 12 Days of Christmas as increasing bird chaos

This was my husband's grandma Lillian Swink. She died of Covid on Sunday. It got into her nursing home, and that was it. I'm sharing this article written about her in 2001. It's the story of a British war bride and an American GI, and I think it captures her adventurous spirit.
